Questions about pricing
Do our congregation members count toward the price?
No. Congregation members are unlimited on every plan, including Free, and the experience they get is identical at every tier. You are only ever charged for the staff team who plan and publish services. We would rather you invite your whole church.
What exactly is a staff seat?
Anyone on your team who can plan or publish — a pastor, an administrator, a sermon editor, someone on communications or media. Anyone you invite as a congregation member is free. An invitation you have sent but which has not been accepted yet holds its seat until it is accepted or removed.
What happens when we run out of seats?
Nothing breaks. You simply cannot add another staff member until you upgrade or remove someone. Your services, your congregation and everything you have published carry on exactly as before.
Can we change plan later?
Yes, in either direction, and there is no contract to end. Upgrading takes effect immediately. If you move down to a smaller plan you will be asked to bring your team within the new seat count first, so nobody is locked out unexpectedly.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There is no setup fee, no onboarding fee and no minimum term on any plan.
Does Sown take a cut of our giving?
No, and it never will. If you add a giving section, it links out to whichever provider your church already uses. Sown does not process, hold or take a percentage of anything your congregation gives.
